Should I Pay Hourly or Salary? – Practical Advice

https://youtu.be/TbTzHpMnz7Q It’s time for another practical outsourcing advice! This is one of the many installments for this series of tips and advice where I share what I know about outsourcing, particularly, outsourcing to the Philippines. One of the most asked questions in outsourcing is: “Do I pay my OFS (Online Filipino Specialist) hourly, or should I pay a monthly salary?” Paying someone hourly is simpler, and honestly, it’s the more obvious choice. But paying someone hourly shows that you’re not really committing to anything — you’re not committing to your worker, and you’re not committing to growing your business. Giving your OFS a monthly salary is a commitment. Your commitment to yourself, your business, and the person you’re hiring. I dive more into this and hopefully get you looking into this through my perspective.  This practical advice is just one of many we have in our blog. Head on to our outsourcing education page to catch the whole series.  Subscribe to our blog to be notified when new videos are published. Lastly, remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel too, we’ll be releasing new videos every Tuesdays and Fridays of the month. I also have a new book that I am giving away for free, The Outsourcing Lever. It’s about how I have done outsourcing over the years. Get more information here. If you’d rather check out reviews from entrepreneurs who already made the jump and have VAs of their own, here’s a list of reviews on Onlinejobs.ph.
