Maternity Leave for an Online Filipino Specialist – Practical Advice

It’s time for another practical outsourcing advice!

This is one of the many installments for this series of tips and advice where I share what I know about outsourcing, particularly, outsourcing to the Philippines.

Let’s talk about maternity leave.

Do you know that women in the Philippines are entitled to 105 days of paid maternity leave? Not only that, but men are also allowed paternity leave for 7 days with full pay!

Now, what does this mean to you? Technically, as a foreign employer, you’re not bound by their law. But as a good employer, there is something you can do to make your OFS happy and show that you care.

If you like these kinds of practical advice, don’t worry, we have more! Head on to our outsourcing education page. You can also subscribe to our blog to be notified when new videos are published.

I also have a new book that I am giving away for free, The Outsourcing Lever. It’s about how I have done outsourcing over the years. Get more information here.

If you’d rather check out reviews from entrepreneurs who already made the jump and have VAs of their own, here’s a list of reviews on Onlinejobs.ph. Lastly, remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel too. You can also check out how to get started on hiring Rockstar Virtual Assistants.
