Content is still king, and finding a writer can definitely help you and your business. But hiring someone to write for you can be tricky. I’ve found there’s a bit of science to it.
If you’re looking to hire a writer, start by asking questions.
- Do you like to read? What are you reading?
- What are you watching?
- How often do you write?
- Do you know how to create an outline?
There’s a reason I ask this particular set of questions when I’m hiring writers. I explain why in this video.
I know hiring someone can feel intimidating. But the key to finding the right person the first time is having the right recruitment process. That’s what I teach at OneVAAway.com.
I’ll show you that finding the right virtual assistant doesn’t have to take long. Even if you’re super busy, you’ll find the time to go through the process yourself. Because when you do the recruiting yourself, that’s how you find the best person for your business.
