Set Expectations Today, Avoid Problems Tomorrow

When I started talking about outsourcing a few years back, I also created a video series of outsourcing tips. I did it because I wanted everyone to have a great experience in outsourcing. Things were different back then. Most businesses had no idea what outsourcing was or how they could use it for their business. So now I’m bringing them back with new information I’ve learned over the years and new resources I’ve developed with my team.

In this video, I want to shed light on the importance of setting expectations. It’s important that, from the get-go, you let them know the work you expect from them—and that they can talk to you if they run into any problems.

Tip #2 – Setting Expectations

That’s the second tip I’m sharing—setting expectations. Without clear expectations in place, you could be setting yourself up for inevitable issues down the road. Whether it’s about their salary or what working with you entails, you have to set the record straight and let them know what to expect.

It’s important that they know what to expect from you, especially when they’re stuck. Why? I’ll talk about that in this video, so don’t miss it.

And in case you missed it, check out my first video where I talk about daily communication.

This system works really well, especially when you hire the right VA. If you want to know how I’m able to hire the right people almost every time, check out my 7-day challenge. I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process that allows me and my team to find the right Filipino VA.

You can also find more tips in my new free ebook, OutsourcingLever. It’s out now! Read about how I learned to #OutsourceBetter over the years and how other business owners have done it as well. There’s no reason to go into outsourcing blind anymore. You’ve got to read this before you hire your first VA.

And of course, don’t forget to check out OnlineJobs.ph. We’re the largest database of online Filipino workers. Sign up for an account today and experience what hassle-free outsourcing is really like.
