When I started outsourcing, I didn’t know anything about outsourcing. Like many business owners, the first thing I did was hire a VA through an agency.
It was the owner of backcountry.com who steered me into outsourcing to the Philippines. When I asked why, he answered, “When people in the Philippines say ‘yes’, it means ‘yes, I understand what you’re saying’.”
The year was 2005. This was when I first hired my first Filipino VA, and I haven’t looked back since. I have found amazing people who work hard, who are loyal, and honest. Thousands of business owners have found success in hiring Filipino VAs.
Why Filipinos? I’ll tell you why:
- “Yes” means “I understand.”
- Filipinos are honest.
- Loyalty is a big deal.
- They want to make you happy and are hardworking.
- Foreigners are looked up to.
- Sexism is not an issue.
I encourage you to watch the video above as I go into detail each reason.
