Hire Slow and Fire Fast Is Stupid – Practical Advice

Let’s talk about “hire slow and fire fast” philosophy that I hear about a lot. I know this would ruffle some feathers, let me just say, I think it’s a bit, well, ridiculous.

Let me break it down for you:

“Hire slow.” Seriously, who has time for that? We’re all about efficiency, right? Personally, I don’t want to spend forever finding the right fit – I want it fast. And I bet you do, too. Time is money, after all.

And when you think about it, if you’re dragging your feet in the hiring process, it might send the wrong signals, especially to Filipinos.

Are you really interested, or are you just playing hard to get?

Online Filipino Specialists are ready to jump right into work, and if you’re taking too long, they might just find someone else who’s ready to make the jump with them.

Now, onto the “fire fast” part. When I find an OFS through the process, that has been tested time and again, I’m pretty confident they’re top-notch. And if things aren’t going well, it’s not about firing fast but working through it. That’s where the magic happens.

Firing fast can mean missing out on untapped potential and setting yourself, and your OFS, up for failure.

If you’re like me who thinks “hire slow, fire fast” is a ridiculous philosophy, you might want to check out OneVAAway.com. I created it because I realized folks were drowning in hiring struggles.

I mean, someone told me they spent over 200 hours hiring and still hadn’t found the right person. Yikes! That’s a serious “doing it wrong” moment.

The right hiring process shouldn’t be a marathon, and OneVAAway.com is here to make sure of that.
