A few episodes ago, I talked about how my daughter was getting ready to take the ACT and how school doesn’t prepare you for life; it teaches you how to take a test.
When I have a Practical Advice video uploaded on YouTube, that also means I send out newsletters to my email list, and someone on my mailing list — a teacher — sent me an email back that reflects her ire on what I said.
It was a long letter that lists the life skills that education provides us at school — Reading, Math, talking in front of a crowd — and I realized that so much good comes from attending school. Many entrepreneurs might say otherwise, but we can’t deny that we got something good from it.
In her email, she said, “School exists to empower people to become what they want.”
And I thought this is exactly why we do what we do in our business!
This is why we should help our OFS become the best version of themselves. This is why we should not stop training our Online Filipino Specialists.
Educating our OFSs means you’re empowering them. Not only are you making them better, so your business grows faster and runs more efficiently, but you’re also making them understand your business more and giving them ideas to improve it!
