Success in Mind is a motivational podcast for high-performing entrepreneurs ready to take their business and their life to the next level.
This conversation is pretty special since she admitted that she does not have an Online Filipino Specialist and that she might be a potential OnlineJobs.ph client.
So, I shared my journey to outsourcing. If you are like Teri who wants to outsource but still has questions and hesitations about outsourcing, this podcast is the one to listen to.
Here’s the gist of what we talked about:
My journey began with a simple desire for more time and freedom. The plan was clear: work fewer hours while keeping the business flourishing. This journey kicked off about 15 years ago, driven by the birth of my daughter.
My approach revolves around “purposeful outsourcing.” It’s all about delegating time-consuming tasks, enabling a sharper focus on what truly matters. The Philippines emerged as my go-to spot for outsourcing, thanks to its rich talent pool and cost-effectiveness.
You should start outsourcing when you have tasks that others can handle. Consider outsourcing complex tasks like design and SEO, enabling a transition from doing everything to providing direction.
VAs from the Philippines, many are already experts in their chosen niche – I call them OFS, Online Filipino Specialists – offer qualities like integrity, loyalty, a strong work ethic, and English language proficiency.
A defined hiring process is crucial. Search for the necessary skills, post clear job requirements, and use effective questions to identify suitable candidates.
To wrap it up, my journey to a 17-hour work week (it is more like a 10-hour work week now) is a testament to the potential of strategic outsourcing.
It’s about making smart choices, building a reliable team, and embracing a path that can transform your business and your life. If time freedom is your goal, consider venturing into the world of outsourcing.
