Six months ago, I started using online Filipino specialists when I talk about my team. Sometimes I still call them my VAs out of habit but I haven’t been comfortable with that term for a long time now.
I’ve called my Filipino workers ‘virtual assistants’ for years. But lately, the title doesn’t seem to fit anymore. They’re don’t just do low skilled jobs anymore. They do a lot of specialized stuff that I don’t have the knowledge, skill or talent for. They do more than secretarial work. They are programmers, graphic designers, copywriters, system administrators, etc.
They’re truly are specialists in their field.
Virtual assistants are good when you’re just starting out. But as your business grows, you’ll need specialists. You’d want someone specific. People who are skilled at their jobs and can grow your with your business.
