Filipino Virtual Assistants Salary Guide – 2019 Update

See Updated Salary Guide

It’s been a few years since we last release a salary guide and I have to agree, a lot has changed since then.

Compared to 2018, there’s been a slight increase in the starting salaries for Filipino virtual assistants. There are several reasons for this.

There’s  inflation and the rising cost of goods to consider. The Philippines peso experienced high inflation over the past year and the exchange rate experienced major fluctuations over the past year. What your VA can buy with P500 two years ago is a lot less than what it could but today.

There are more training opportunities now for virtual assistants than ever before. Training facilities and programs have been popping up all over the country. So newbies now have more skills than they did around 5 years ago. More virtual assistants are also choosing to specialize, allowing them to provide more customized services to business.

Virtual assistant salaries will vary according to the skills they have and their experience. The more technical your skill set is, the higher your pay will be.

I need and posted for someone to help me part-time for now to draft blog Articles between 1500 and 2000 words based on relevant global topics I provide. It will increase over time and I assume the rate will differ based on skills and complexity. I offered between $9-10 per article based on advice from other bloggers and it was indicated that this is above the norm. Some accept this and others say it is below the norm. Can you assist on a guideline since It is difficult to compare that with a monthly full time rate.
    Thanks a lot

Hello Ms. Julia If this is true then why onlinejob.ph is allowing a rate of $1 to $2 per hour to our Filipino virtual assistant. Will it be timely if they will regulate the minimal rate fee to at least $3 per hour ?

It would be very helpful if you gave this same chart but gave the ‘full time equivalent’. Knowing that the lowest ‘part time’ is $200 is meaningless – is that for 1 hour a week or 40 hours a week?

I was an employee of a certain BPO company before as a copyeditor. May I know if there’s an online job that still fits my skills which is copyediting? I hope there is because I badly needed a job right now. Thank you
