Business is about relationships. Creating a mutually beneficial relationship with the customer is the primary focus. After all, keeping customers happy is the key to a profitable business. But you can’t have a business without productive, motivated workers. The employer-employee relationship is what keeps the business running like a well-oiled machine and helps you keep your customers happy.
Over the years, outsourcing, Filipino Virtual Assistants have been helping entrepreneurs simplify their lives. We have seen these entrepreneurs become more successful thanks to the VA who helped them grow their businesses.
How do VAs do that? How can they make your life and your business easier for you?
A Filipino VA Can Simplify Your Life
1. Reduce Business Costs
Filipino Virtual Assistants have dramatically changed the costs of doing business. Rather than spend around $81,000 on starting labor costs per year, just to get things done, you can now start a business for around a fraction of the cost.
This stretches out your capital. Giving you more time and money to build a profitable business that you would not have been able to afford otherwise.
And if you’re a small business operating on slim margins, having talented Filipino VAs available can help keep your business running. This gives you some breathing room since you don’t have to worry about the rising cost of hourly labor.
2. Save Time
An entrepreneur’s day doesn’t end after 5pm. There’s always something more to do in your business. If you think being your own boss means having more time off, you’re dead wrong.
According to research by call handling firm Penelope, micro-business owners work on average 52 hours a week. That’s 63% more hours than a regular employee. Solopreneurs spend even more hours than that.
Administrative tasks alone can be a full-time job.
BUT having a virtual assistant do your admin tasks for you frees up 20 hours a week almost instantly. That’s half a work week that you can use whatever you want. You can use it to take care of yourself or your business. That’s time you can use to make more money instead of spending it working on minor administrative tasks.
3. Add to Your Expertise
A virtual assistant can play a huge role in developing your business expertise. Developing expertise relies a lot on your ability to practice it. And deliberate practice is comprised of 4 components:
- focused goals
- feedback
- opportunity for practice
- concentration
Many entrepreneurs often find it hard to focus because they’re juggling different aspects of their business. And it’s easy to see why. You have to do everything, even the things you don’t want to do.
Outsource all that tedium to a VA instead. Focus on things you like doing on your business. Focus on things you want to be better at. Let your virtual assistants take care of everything else and give yourself some breathing room.
When you free up your time, it’s easier to focus and concentrate on goals, feedback, and keep practicing on your business.
4. Strengthen your Business
Entrepreneurs need to focus on building and growing businesses. That’s it. That’s what they should be experts in. To do that, you can’t be the expert in every single aspect of your business.
You can’t be the social media marketing expert, the SEO expert, the effective copywriter, and the programming guru of your business.
In order to be the best at everything, you need to spend hours learning instead of focusing on your business. Even if you’re a genius, you’ll be spreading yourself too thin if you do everything yourself. This makes you less effective on the job you should be doing, which is building and growing your business.
If you want to be profitable, stick to your lane. Focus on making money. Let your VA take the training they need and have them tackle everything else.
5. Do things you’ve never done before
With a team that’s not tied up to a physical office, you’re free to go places and do things you wouldn’t do otherwise. Go to a golf tournament, plan a vacation to Hawaii with your wife, or visit Disneyland with the kids.
Work anytime you want, anywhere you want. Don’t believe us, check out Trevor and Jill, who have built their businesses while traveling all over the globe.
Don’t want to travel? You can go back to school or pursue a passion project. The world of possibilities opens up when you have trustworthy, hardworking VA’s to help you run your business.
How Foreign Entrepreneurs Help Filipino Virtual Assistants
Filipinos online workers are honest and loyal employees. Treat them well and they will treat your business like their own. Take care of your Filipino VAs and they will take care of you.
Here are some of the things you can do to help your online workers; keeping them motivated and productive.
1. Improve the Virtual Assistant’s Financial Status
Give your VAs a fair rate. Don’t give experienced workers low starting rates. Don’t take advantage of their reluctance to negotiate. And always pay them on time.
2. Help hone your Filipino VA Skills
Invest in training your Filipino virtual assistant.
If you’ve worked with a Filipino VA before, you know that they don’t want to stop learning. They like challenges. They are constantly trying new things to broaden their skill set. If they want to learn something new, encourage them. Every new thing they learn and skill they gain adds more to your business.
3. Offer flexible schedules if possible
A lot of Filipinos have worked in the BPO industry. Most of them expect to work the graveyard shift. But we all know how hard it is to work when you’re fighting to stay awake.
If the tasks you’re outsourcing aren’t time sensitive, opt for flexible work schedules. Let your VA work when they’re most productive.
If that’s not possible, consider an overlapping schedule instead. An overlapping schedule is where they spend half their time working on your schedule and the other half anytime they want. This gives you the face time you need with your VA without sacrificing too much of their productivity.
Filipinos are proud to work. They want to work. And when you work with Filipino virtual assistants they will help you cut costs, add to your business’ expertise, save time, and allow you to focus on more than just their business. They make a lot of things possible if given the chance. possible when they otherwise would not be. If that sounds like a good idea to you, why not take a chance and hire a Filipino VA today?
We’ll even make the process easier for you. Take the 7 day challenge and find out the secret to how you can hire the right person for the job, each and every time.

Don’t just promote the $300-workers. There are a lot of rockstars (like me! 🙂 ) who can bring in tens of thousands of dollars to a company. For that, my employer does not mind paying me $300/week not per month. My friend used to work for him and I believe she found that job here. She used to receive $500/month. When I had to replace her, I asked for 250/week. I demonstrated that I was worth that, even more! He’s happy. I’m happy!
