Josh and I had an awesome conversation that uncovered a lot of the things that most people didn’t know about outsourcing.
For most people, outsourcing is about hiring contract workers. You give the freelancer a specific job with specific instructions. Once you get what you want, you’re on your own.
But it’s not a liberating experience. It doesn’t support the growth mindset you need for your business.
When you hire contract workers:
- You’re assured of 100% turnover
- You’ll never get 100% of the commitment
- And at the end of the day, you’ll still stuck with 100% of the work.
When you outsource to the Philippines, things are different. The culture of Filipino virtual assistants encourages the growth mindset because:
- You don’t have to worry about turnover (Filipinos are fiercely loyal)
- Filipinos are talented, skilled, and want challenging work, and
- Most Filipinos are motivated to succeed because they’re not just doing this for the money.
