How Payoneer works together with OnlineJobs.ph

Whether you’re an employer or a freelancer, there’s one issue around gig work that’s always a concern, and that’s managing payment. Freelancers want fast and flexible access to funds, employers want low-cost payment methods, and both of them want secure and transparent payment processing.

That’s why OnlineJobs.ph built its own payment feature called EasyPay, to simplify payment management for both employers and workers. With the help of EasyPay, employers can securely send payments, and freelancers can easily create and send invoices and view their payment history.

When you use EasyPay, you can choose between two payment processors: PayPal, and Payoneer. They both operate within EasyPay, and they both provide streamlined, lower-cost international payments, but Payoneer has specific benefits for OnlineJobs.ph users.

The Benefits of using Payoneer with OnlineJobs.ph

Here are the top reasons why freelancers and employers want to use Payoneer with their OnlineJobs.ph account.

  • Easy to Use

If you’re a freelancer, you can use Payoneer to send a payment request from within the OnlineJobs.ph platform or from your Payoneer account in just a few clicks. Your employer will get an email from you that makes it easy for them to pay online, and that helps you get paid on time.

If you’re an employer on OnlineJobs.ph, you can use Payoneer to pay your contractors and remote workers in the Philippines through the payment method that’s most convenient for you, whether that’s credit/debit card, local bank transfer, ACH bank debit — or Payoneer to Payoneer payments.

  • Low Cost

Nobody wants to spend more on high foreign exchange rates and cross-border transfer fees. With Payoneer, you’ll enjoy competitive exchange rates and low-cost transfers, including free Payoneer to Payoneer payments. Once you receive funds in your Payoneer account, you can convert them to PHP and withdraw to your local bank account for a fixed 2% fee.

In comparison, other alternative payment solutions charge as much as 4% for currency conversions and 3% for business-related transfers like paying for goods or services, which can add up.

OnlineJobs.ph special! Payoneer usually charges a 1% fixed fee for ACH debit transfers into Payoneer (for example, when paying a worker from your bank account). This fee is waived if you pay workers through the OnlineJobs.ph EasyPay system.

  • Gives you Flexibility

It’s your money, so you should get to decide how to use it. Payoneer lets freelancers choose the most convenient way to store and spend their income. You can withdraw your money to your local bank account, take out cash from an ATM, pay other Payoneer users for free, or use the Payoneer Commercial MasterCard to make payments online or in person. pexels-vlada-karpovich-4050290

Philippine freelancers can also cash in from their Payoneer to their Gcash account!

Meanwhile, as mentioned above, employers can decide which payment method they want to use, so they can keep their cash flow under control.

  • Provides Full Transparency

It’s worrying to send a payment off to your contractor and have no idea about its progress. That’s why Payoneer enables both employers and freelancers to track payments every step of the way, so you don’t need to be concerned that your money could disappear without anyone noticing.

With Payoneer, the employer can select whether the recipient or the employer themselves will pay any transfer fees. This way, you’ll both know who is liable for which costs, and nobody will get any unpleasant surprises.

  • Rewarding for OnlineJobs Users

As well as all these benefits, OnlineJobs workers get a special reward when they sign up to a new Payoneer account. If you register for Payoneer through OnlineJobs, you’ll enjoy an extra US$75 when you receive your first US$1,000 (accumulated) in your Payoneer account. pexels-vlada-karpovich-4050290
