Outsourcing is one of those things that most people say they know how to do, but in reality, most can’t do it correctly. It’s a lot like singing. We’re all taught to sing as kids. But if we’re completely being honest, not everybody can do it. To sing well, you have to:
  • Find your vocal range,
  • Learn how to sing, and
  • Practice whenever possible.
It’s the same thing with outsourcing. We all like to think that we know how to delegate and manage people. But that’s really not the case. Delegation and management skills aren’t something that we’re all born with. Not only do you need to learn how to do these things before you outsource, you need to be mentally prepared for it. We have just launched a video series called Practical Advice for Hiring Virtual Assistants. This series will help remove the hypotheticals of outsourcing and give you tips that you can use right now. But before you can outsource, we need to know whether you’re ready to start outsourcing. So how will you know? How will you know if you’re ready to outsource and hire a virtual assistant? In this video, John Jonas, founder of Onilnejobs.ph, gives practical advice that lets know:
  • When you know you’re ready to outsource
  • When you know you’re ready to hire your first VA, and
  • How you to get started
Thanks for watching! Check out our next video, where we’ll be talking about what kind of virtual assistant you should be hiring first. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel. 1. Randy says

Can I ask a simple question, Sir?. Why until now I don’t have a client or they don’t hire me as anything data entry or as VA?. I applied for too many jobs but still, they don’t hire me, what to share some secret?.

  2. John Jonas says

Yeah, the secret is to stand out.
For a Data Entry job or a general VA job, employers are probably getting 200-400 job applications. That’s way too many to look through. You need to do something to stand out.
    Be amazing. Not just good.
    Be different. Not similar.
    Do something striking.
