I wrote about the 4 reasons why the Philippines is better outsourcing destination extensively in my LinkedIn post.
I have another reason to add to that list.
This infographic was created by one of my virtual assistants in the Philippines (who is a writer by training) using free software. She pitched me the idea of creating an infographic from what I wrote and I gave her a shot.
Never experienced that kind of initiative with Indian workers.
And this isn’t the first time I have experienced this with Filipino workers. It’s the initiative of my Filipino workers that allowed me to work 17 hours a week. They regularly come up with ideas to make my business better. I wouldn’t have this level of success if I just outsourced to India. No doubt they’re amazing workers. But if you want employees who are just as invested in helping your business succeed, the best outsourcing destination is the Philippines.

I am a Filipino and I appreciate the fact that your prefer Filipinos to work in an online job. However, comparing one nationality to others is an act that will not make the nationality you are comparing from any better. I, as a Filipino, I will not like to be compared to other nationalities neither in good or in bad ways.

The comparison is specific only to jobs and this is reasonable. If I say Japan is better than the Philippines in terms of discipline won’t you agree? As an online worker for more than 10 years, If I say that American employers are better than British, is it wrong for me to say that? There is nothing wrong in comparing nationalities when the topic is very specific.

If you are going to ask a Filipino to do a one task expect he will do the rest, if he knows that he can solve it right there and there.
