When hiring a virtual assistant, should you send a rejection email? – Practical Advice

While looking for the perfect VA for you, it’s understandable that cuts will be made.

If you’re new to the recruitment process, rejecting applicants and moving to the next part of the process will feel cruel and, sometimes, heartless.

So how do you go about rejecting people? Do you need to let them know they’re not moving to the next round? Or do you just leave them hanging?

That’s exactly what I’ll be talking about in this video: When hiring a virtual assistant, should you send a rejection email?

Find out how I go about rejecting applicants when I do the hiring. Do I let them down easy, or do I just ignore them?

      Hi Suraj,

      Thank you for your comment.

I’m sorry if there is any confusion but we only allow Philippine citizens to be workers on our site.
Unfortunately, at the moment we’re focusing in providing jobs mainly for Filipinos based in the Philippines.

For online jobs within your country, you can try signing up for UpWork or Freelancer.

Hence this is my first time in onlinejobs.ph; Is there anyone who can give an advice/help on how to get hired or find a home based job. I am willing to start imeadiately or undergo any training or test if required. We all know that most of our life now are miserable in the midst of this crisis. But I don’t know how I will give life to my 2 kids and wife because my emergency fund will not last for a longer period of time. I hope someone will consider. Thanks

Hi, I just want to ask if somebody can help me regarding the verification process. I submitted my gov’t ID and a copy of my billing address on the portal under my profile but up until now it is “awaiting verification” status. I hope somebody can assist me with this. Thank you very much and more power!

Hi! Just want to inform you that its been almost a month since I register here on onlinejobs.ph and until now I’m still waiting for the confirmation & verification of my identity. What take so long for the process? I mean, I already submitted a valid government ID of myself including a pose of myself holding my ID for verification. As I click both the word submit it says that I should have to wait for 1-2 days processing before it gets verified. It’s been long long weeks already till it reach the what it says 1-2 days processing. What take so long for you to get me verified?? I cannot start searching for jobs because your process of verifying my identity is so slow. I cannot increase my ID proof because until now I’m still waiting for my identification to get approve and verified. 1-2 days processing but I keep waiting too long already. Hope for your response with this. Thanks.
